Itensil privacy statement
Itensil, Inc. has created this Privacy and Security Policy to communicate our commitment to user privacy and customer security. Privacy and security of our customers’ information is a foundation of our company. Our products allow our customers to utilize the Internet to collect and store very sensitive information. Itensil is committed to principles and procedures that assure a safe and secure user experience. The individual aspects of this policy are:
Usage information
In order to continue enhancing the Itensil product in the most important areas, Itensil may gather information about our users, such as what areas users visit most frequently and what features users access the most. We only use such data in aggregate. Any data shared with our partners is also used in aggregate. At no time will any individual usage information be tracked or shared.
Proprietary and Confidential Information
An important feature of the Itensil product is the ability for customers to collect, store, share and use information about their business processes. The customer maintains full rights to view, access, modify and delete information about their business processes. As such, the customer has the responsibility for maintaining correct information. A comprehensive file management system give the customer the ability to control access to the system, and to view, use and edit individual workflows, tools, records, and documents that are stored on the system.
Information Disclosure
Itensil will not disclose any customer information stored in the system, or the names and contact information of any individuals that are stored in the system, or that Itensil has obtained through inquiries, registrations, sales calls or other means in the course of conducting business, except as required by law or as requested by the customer. For example a customer may use the Itensil system to manage email campaigns to their business prospects. These types of transactions can only be initiated by the Itensil customer.
Cookies
Cookies are files that Web browsers place on a computer's hard drive. They are used to help Itensil authenticate users and provide time saving shortcuts and preferences. Itensil issues a mandatory session cookie to each user only to record encrypted authentication information for the duration of a specific session. If this cookie is rejected, access to and usage of the system will be denied. The session cookie does not include the username or password of the user.
Third Party Sites
The Itensil product may contain links to information stored on other web sites. Itensil is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these other web sites. Customers and visitors should check the policy statement of these others web sites to understand their policies before disclosing private information. It is the responsibility of the user to keep such information private and confidential.
Security
Itensil considers security of data to be a primary focus and is constantly revising security tools and procedures to insure the security and integrity of customer data.Itensil protects customer data by employing security measures at various levels.
- Application Security
Every user of the Itensil system must have a valid username and password combination. Initial passwords are auto-generated and emailed and consequently not known by any employee of Itensil. The customer administrator has the ability to control access for all features of the product for all employees of their company. In addition to feature level security, Itensil employs data level security to control access and use of individual documents. Access levels are – delete, modify, create, view, and denied (not visible). - Internet Security
Itensil uses industry-standard 128-bit secure socket layer (SSL) technology and digital certificates to encrypt and authenticate transactions. SSL creates a secured connection between our web servers and your browser, which eliminates unauthorized access to transmitted data and ensures data is sent only to the intended server. - Database Security
Access to the database is controlled by and limited to the Itensil application. Employees of Itensil do not have physical access to the database or data. Additionally, all data changes are logged and audited. - Server Security
Itensil has partnered with a leading Internet hosting provider to locate Itensil’s servers in a highly secure, highly available offsite facility. Itensil’s server infrastructure is secured using advanced Internet firewalls, network-based intrusion detection systems, redundant / highly available routers and switches, redundant / highly available power facilities, and regularly scheduled backups with offsite storage.
Opt-Out Policy
Itensil offers its visitors and customers a means to choose how we may use information provided. If, at any time after registering for information or ordering services, you change your mind about receiving information from us or about sharing your information with third parties, send us a request specifying your new choice. Simply send your request to support@Itensil.com.
