Management Team

Keith Patterson, founder and CEO 
Keith's experience working with software industry clients at AdScience—the Santa Monica web design firm he founded—inspired the Itensil product concept and provided the means to develop it. AdScience clients included Countrywide, Microsoft, Fujitsu and numerous dot-coms. Keith was a creative guy for Silicon Valley ad agencies Regis McKenna and Bozell where he leveraged his computer systems product management experience at Digital Equipment and Control Data. He co-founded San Francisco ad agency Patterson & Glen—sold to global ad agency DMB&B—and KPA Advertising, whose clients included Xerox, Philips and TRW. Keith has a BS in Political Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Robert Block, Chairman
Bob has a long and successful career in the computer software, communication and entertainment industries including pioneering roles in commercial and pay television and cellular telephone operating companies.  He has also contributed significantly to the creation and development of entertainment and communication technologies used worldwide.  Bob is widely known for his pioneering work in communications, information and management technologies. He is the inventor and patent owner of more than 200 issued US and International patents, including patents relating to: Enterprise Management Systems, Information Labeling, Signal Control, Terrestrial and Satellite Distribution Systems, Real-Time Subscriber Billing Systems, PayPer-View and Parental Control, Speech Education, Exercise Equipment and Novelty items. His inventions are licensed to most of the major consumer electronics manufacturers and have influenced entertainment, sports and information and education services worldwide. 

Grant Gongaware, Co-founder and CTO
Grant is a visionary software architect who created Itensil’s breakthrough WikiFlow Guided Collaboration technology and pioneered the use of Ajax for interactive Gantt charts and flowchart creation in a web browser. Grant implemented WikiFlow for OEM partner Responsys’ “millions of emails per-hour” requirements, and process ecosystem for OEM partner Ideate's research administration applicationGrant has developed interactive technology for online games, rich media and dynamic personalization for Paramount Pictures and Microsoft. Grant has an engineering degree from the University of Southern California. 

Jean Bissell, Customer Solutions and Support
Jean combines strengths in both technology and a deep background in publishing. She has almost 20 years’ experience in many types of internet projects: developing solution architectures, focusing web strategy and content, producing and managing web sites and applications, and developing information architectures to increase usability. Jean has worked with many clients, including nonprofits and government entities, in healthcare, education, and other fields. Jean has developed and taught undergraduate courses as well as custom training programs for a variety of clients. Her early work in user support for hardware, software and networks and subsequent success in training at many levels, give Jean a wealth of experience in user satisfaction.
